The Fort Leavenworth Ethics Symposium organizers from the CGSC
Foundation, Inc. and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College
have launched a new website in support of the annual ethics symposium
that begins this year.
"The site is the focal point for attendee registrations and for the
attendees to collaborate and share ideas," said Bob Ulin, foundation
CEO.
Once a symposium attendee registers on the website, they will have
access to information about the symposium, threaded discussions in
which they can participate, and documents produced before and after the
meeting. The annual symposia are by invitation only, so website
registrants will only be approved if they are on the official
invitation list.
The annual symposium intends to provide a visible and intellectual
forum at the Command and General Staff College to discuss the impacts
of ethical and legal issues field grade officers will face in their
professional military service. The Chief of Staff of the Army, Gen.
George W. Casey, Jr., has made ethics one of his top initiatives.
